The Certified Environmental and Sustainability Analyst (CESA) certification is ideal for those who wish to combine analytical skills with a passion for making a difference in the world. They will have problem-solving skills that are essential for to find solutions to environmental issues, such as the impact of climate change, plastic pollution, and energy usage on the environment and society.

Certified Environmental and Sustainability Analysts will help organisations meet their environmental and sustainability goals. They will structure ambiguous problems and take action to develop and implement tailored sustainability requirements. This may include creating and implementing environmental and sustainability programs that suit specific organisational needs and making recommendations for follow-up action.

Description

The Certified Environmental and Sustainability Analyst (CESA) role is ideal for those who:

  • Support the delivery of best practice client environmental performance reports (e.g., carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste generation and recycling performance) to support an organisation’s legal and voluntary reporting obligations.
  • Source and update all sustainability and cost data.
  • Undertake the validation and correction of environmental and sustainability data.
  • Work as an integrated, informed, effective and positive member of a team that will enable their organisation to meet its environmental and sustainability goals.

The course also counts as 8 CPD hours for CMAs.
