The Certified Integrated Marketing Communication Analyst (CIMCA) certification is ideal for those who wish to be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that help promote and create awareness around the company’s brand. Integrated marketing communications (IMC) is a branch of marketing and advertising that focuses on one part of the marketing mix: promotion. Today, many companies see a need to better integrate promotional elements and maximize the channels of communications to customers. Therefore, the career opportunities in integrated marketing communications are vast and diverse. IMC professionals use their knowledge in a variety of disciplines–media, advertising, public relations, sales promotion and direct marketing– to create a strong and unified corporate brand that stands out from the competition.

Training: For those wishing to undertake training to obtain certification, this course trains individuals to: (1) work with colleagues to develop and implement integrated marketing communications plans; (2) research and implement recommendations for effective, creative, results orientated marketing communications; (3) develop and project manage marketing and brand communications; (4) develop and manage the delivery of corporate and product marketing collateral and activities; (5) ensure that corporate, product and news event messages and content are developed and maximised across all on and offline media; and (6) ensure the provision of complete, accurate and timely MI and analysis to facilitate decision making.

Assessments: These are designed to validate your knowledge of the subject area, as well as increase employability skills, and coaching skills by testing that knowledge and your ability to apply it (i.e., competency).
