The Master Portfolio Analyst (MPA) certification is ideal for those who wish to be part of the Investment Team that is responsible for performing the daily investment management activities of the firm including client portfolio rebalancing, and management of the firm’s proprietary individual large-cap stock strategies.

The Master Portfolio Analyst (MPA) certification is ideal for those who wish to be part of the Investment Team that is responsible for performing the daily investment management activities of the firm including client portfolio rebalancing, and management of the firm’s proprietary individual large-cap stock strategies.

The primary responsibilities of a MPA is to (1) review and rebalancing of each client’s multi-asset class portfolio; (2) evaluate and rebalance large cap individual stock portfolios.

AFMA Certification can be obtained by undertaking an AFMA approved Training Program.

Training: For those wishing to undertake training to obtain certification, this course trains individuals to perform daily download and reconciliation of client portfolio data through the use of optimization software and multi factor risk models; (2) handle all stock mergers and acquisition transaction in our portfolio management system; (3) perform daily update of website and maintaining client logons; (4) undertake monthly update and review of portfolio performance data, and (5) generate quarterly performance reports.

Assessments: These are designed to validate your knowledge of the subject area, as well as increase employability skills, and coaching skills by testing that knowledge and your ability to apply it (i.e., competency).

The Master Portfolio Analyst  ( MPA )TM Board Certification is awarded to individuals who have met our  Requirements.
